Biography
D. P. Kohli (1908–1971) was one of India’s most respected police leaders and the founding Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Known for his integrity, discipline, and visionary leadership, he played a decisive role in shaping India’s modern investigative framework.
He joined the Indian Police Service in the 1930s and quickly distinguished himself through competence, fairness, and an unwavering sense of duty.
